Terrific idea - Men in Black Reviews
There are thousands of aliens walking the planet without us knowing about it? Really? Most of them live in New York? Oh, well, that makes sense. I love New York, and one of the reasons why is, simply, walking down the street I glance from face to face and half expect to see hinges on the human-suits.
Will Smith is genuinely funny here, before black jokes took over his sense of humor. He looks terrific in the suit provided by MIB, too.
Tommy Lee Jones, oposite Smith, is drier than a piece of burnt toast and couldn't be more hilarious. The less emotion he shows, the harder we laugh. He's either mildly annoyed or slightly amused through the entire film.
And, of course, Vincent D'Onofrio is terrific. Here's an all-too-rare peek into the funnier side of D'Onofrio. His voice /is/ decomposition as Edgar Suit rots. It's great.
